After several days of comfortable summer weather, Ukraine will once again be hit by a short-term heatwave. Already at the beginning of next week, the temperature will rise to +33 degrees in some places, but then it will be sharply lowered by rains and a cyclone.

This was reported by weather forecaster Vitaliy Postrygan.

According to him, until July 26, dry and sunny weather will prevail in most regions under the influence of an anticyclone. At the same time, cool air masses will prevent the temperature from rising sharply: at night, +12…+17 degrees are expected, during the day – from +23 to +28 degrees. Only in places, short-term thunderstorms are possible.

The hottest day, according to the forecaster, will be July 27. That’s when Ukraine may be among the warmest countries in Europe, and the air temperature will reach +30…+33 degrees.

“On July 27, Ukraine will be among the warmest regions in Europe: the forecast map shows that it will be hotter here than in Germany or neighboring Poland,” said Vitaliy Postryhan.

However, the heat will not last long. On July 28, a cyclone will arrive from the southwest, bringing short-term thunderstorms and lowering the temperature to +21…+26 degrees. According to preliminary forecasts, unstable weather with local precipitation without prolonged periods of intense heat will persist in Ukraine until the end of July.

A similar forecast was made by weather forecaster Natalka Didenko. According to her, warming will begin this coming weekend, and on Monday the temperature will rise to +30…+32 degrees. At the same time, a new cold snap is expected at the end of July, while the heat may return again in early August.
