Ukraine will have enough shells for HIMARS and Patriot only until the end of summer

Ukrainian stocks of weapons and missiles for Western systems will be enough until the end of the summer. In the fall, if the situation does not change, Ukraine will face problems.

The Bild article notes that the existing air defense and missile stocks will be enough for the Ukrainian troops until the end of the summer.

The halt in the supply of Patriot interceptor missiles will be particularly critical, as they are the only means of intercepting Russian ballistic missiles.

Also, the cessation of the supply of GMLRS ammunition will mean the loss of effectiveness of the HIMARS rocket artillery system, which the SOU uses to strike important targets of the occupiers.

Stopping supplies from the US would mean that Ukraine would lose one of the main ways to shoot down the Shahed UAV. After all, American AIM-7 air-to-air missiles are used specifically to shoot down air targets.

As a reminder, the United States of America temporarily suspended the supply of some anti-aircraft missiles and precision ammunition to Ukraine due to concerns about the level of its own defense reserves.

As reported, after reports of the suspension of the supply of part of military aid to Ukraine, the Pentagon assures that Washington continues to work on solutions.
