The Netherlands has allocated 250 million euros to Ukraine for the purchase of American ammunition for F-16 fighters.
This is reported by the Dutch government.
The country’s Prime Minister Dick Schoof said that Amsterdam will finance the supply of ammunition for Ukrainian F-16s as part of increased military support for Kyiv.
In addition, the Netherlands will accelerate the transfer of another 700 million euros in military aid to Ukraine, which was planned for next year.
“We must continue to pressure Russia and support Ukraine on all fronts, especially in the military sphere,” Schoof emphasized.
The Dutch government emphasizes that strengthening defense support for Ukraine is a key element of European security and deterrence of Russian aggression.
It was previously reported that Germany transferred two Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine, which were promised back in August, as well as the ninth IRIS-T system.
Recall that by the end of the year, Ukraine will receive approximately $5 billion in military aid from US warehouses.
