Ukraine will receive two Patriot air defense systems from Germany.

Ukraine will receive two Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems from Germany in the coming days.

The German Aid to Ukraine initiative reported this on Saturday.

“The delivery of two MIM-104 Patriot launchers from the Bundeswehr to Ukraine, announced in early August 2025 and largely financed by Denmark, Lithuania, and Norway, is expected to be completed in the coming days!” the statement reads.

The discussion concerns the further strengthening of the Ukrainian air defense system, in particular, to protect strategic facilities from Russian missile and drone attacks.

As a reminder, the transfer of these two systems was announced in August 2025. The decision was part of a joint initiative by several NATO countries aimed at strengthening Ukrainian airspace in anticipation of the autumn-winter period, when a new wave of Russian strikes on energy infrastructure is expected.

Zelenskyy previously announced the preparation of an agreement with the United States and the United States for the purchase of 25 Patriot systems.
