Ukraine will send Navy units to other countries: MPs support the law

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported the law on sending units of the Armed Forces to other states.
This was reported by MP Oleksiy Honcharenko.
As it became known, the law was supported by 282 members of parliament. It provides for the dispatch of naval units to Turkey and the United Kingdom.
In particular, Ukraine will send the Navy corvette “Hetman Ivan Mazepa” (type “Ada”) to Turkey with a full-time crew of up to 106 servicemen.
Instead, the mine countermeasures ships Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Melitopol, Mariupol and Genichesk will be sent to Great Britain and Northern Ireland, each with a crew of 39 people. In addition, the command of the 1st division of mine countermeasures ships of the Navy Flotilla will be sent to the United Kingdom as part of a mine countermeasures headquarters with up to 20 servicemen.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a law that allows the sending of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to other countries during martial law.
