Ukrainian AI received a name: what is known

Ukrainians have chosen the name for the first national major language model – “Syayvo” won. Over 136,000 people took part in the vote.

This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

The model is being created together with Kyivstar.

“Shine” is planned to be used in government services, business, education, and defense. It will help process data faster, automate processes, and become the basis for new digital products.

10 names made it to the finals. The team selected them based on the principle of uniqueness – without plagiarism and copyright infringement. In the end, “Siayvo” received the most votes – 22,601.
