Ukrainian Armed Forces counteroffensive near Dobropillya: the enemy is surrounded, the offensive continues

The operation in the Dobropil direction is continuing successfully: during its conduct, the Defense Forces liberated 180.8 square kilometers of territory and, with the involvement of counter-sabotage units, cleared 212.9 DRGs (sabotage and reconnaissance groups).

This was announced by Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky, who recently visited this sector of the front.

During the working trip, Syrsky talked with commanders who lead units that perform tasks to search for and destroy enemy DRGs and groups of Russian occupiers who have found themselves surrounded. “Despite the enemy’s constant counterattacks, the assault units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue their offensive, especially in certain areas,” he noted.

In addition to direct combat operations, Syrsky emphasized key areas of work: preventing an enemy offensive in the Pokrovsky area, improving logistics, ensuring road safety, and protecting critical infrastructure.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct offensive operations near Dobropillya in the Donetsk region despite enemy counterattacks.

As reported, over the past 24 hours, 245 combat clashes have occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front . The hottest situation remains in the Pokrov direction.
