Ukrainian Armed Forces drones attacked the Russian frigate Admiral Essen and a missile carrier in Novorossiysk

The Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Robert “Magyar” Brovdy, announced the destruction of Russian military facilities during the attack on Novorossiysk on the night of May 23. The frigate “Admiral Essen”, a Project 1239 missile carrier, and the “Grushovaya Balka” oil storage facility were hit.

According to Brovdy, during the SBS drone raid, the frigate “Admiral Essen” of project 11356 in Novorossiysk, Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation was in the affected area. A missile ship on a hovercraft of project 1239 was also hit.

“You are doomed to sink someday, you scabies – you won’t hide!”, the SBS commander said, commenting on the attack on Russian ships.

“Magyar” noted that the extent of damage to the ships is currently unknown.

In addition, Ukrainian drones attacked the Grusovaya Balka oil storage facility, which Brovdy called the largest oil storage facility in the Caucasus with a reserve of 1.2 million tons of petroleum products.

Also, according to Brody, the following were affected:

• Osa anti-aircraft missile system in Donetsk;
• the logistics base and logistics hub of the 6th Army of the Russian Air Force and Air Defense in Rovenky, Luhansk region;
• UAV control point in Oleshki, Kherson region;
• refueling trucks, special equipment and armored combat vehicles in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhia region.

“The frigate Admiral Essen and the Project 1239 cushion missile carrier were hit during the SBS Birds raid on the port of Novorossiysk and the Grushovaya Balka oil storage facility,” Brovdy said.

We will remind you that in Novorossiysk, Krasnodar Krai, Russia, fires broke out at the Grushova Balka oil depot and the Sheskharis oil terminal as a result of a drone attack .

By the way, fighters of the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces , struck at the military logistics of the Russian occupiers in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region.

Earlier, drones of the Security Service of Ukraine struck the Metafrax Chemicals enterprise in the Perm region of the Russian Federation , which is located approximately 1,700 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
