Ukrainian Armed Forces have successes near Sloviansk and in the Kostyantynivka-Druzhkivka direction – ISW

Ukrainian forces advanced near Sloviansk and on the Kostyantynivka-Druzhkivka tactical direction during March 31 and April 1. At the same time, Russian forces continue attacks and infiltration attempts on these sections of the front.

This is stated in a report by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

According to analysts, geolocation footage released on April 1 shows the advance of Ukrainian troops southeast of Stavka, located north of Liman, as well as north of Riznykivka, east of Sloviansk.

Meanwhile, footage from March 31 shows Russian troops striking Ukrainian positions in Kostyantynivka and its southwestern outskirts, which analysts believe indicates a recent advance by the Defense Forces in these areas.

Separate video footage also shows the work of Russian drone operators who attacked Ukrainian positions and buildings in the center of Ivano-Frankivsk, south of Kostyantynivka.

According to analysts, on April 1 and 2, Russian troops carried out attacks near Kostyantynivka, Malynivka, Ivano-Pol, Kleban-Byk, Pleshchiivka, Stepanivka, Yablunivka, Rusyny Yar, Novopavlivka, Pavlivka, and Sofiivka near Druzhkivka.

Attacks were also recorded in the Lyman area, in particular near the city itself, Drobysheve, in the direction of Sviatohirsk, near Stavka, Yampil, as well as southeast of Sloviansk in the areas of Riznykivka, Kalenkyvyk, and Lypivka, and in the direction of Kryvaya Luka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.

A separate source linked to Russian forces claimed that Ukrainian forces were carrying out counterattacks in the areas of Dibrova, Ozerne, and southern Yampol.

By the way, the Ukrainian military has already liberated 480 square kilometers of territory in the Oleksandrivka direction.
