Ukrainian Armed Forces hit radar in Crimea and damaged Russian aircraft

The Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked a number of Russian military facilities on August 23 and the night of August 24. The strikes hit command posts, warehouses, and a radar station. The Ukrainian military also confirmed damage to two Russian fighter jets and an Orion drone.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In particular, the Defense Forces struck two command posts of Russian troops – in Strelkovo, Kherson region, and Staromlynivka, Donetsk region.

Ukrainian military also attacked Russian logistics warehouses in Stepne and Khrustalne, Luhansk region, as well as near Viktorivka, Zaporizhia region.

Another target was the Russian radar station “ST-68” in Rozdolne in temporarily occupied Crimea.

The General Staff also reported on the results of the strike on the Vityazevo airfield in Anapa, Krasnodar Territory, Russia on August 23. Russian Su-33 and MiG-29 fighters, as well as the Orion drone, were damaged there.

The General Staff noted that strikes on key Russian military targets will continue.

By the way, on the night of August 24, drone attacks on large logistics facilities were reported in several regions of Russia. In Dagestan, an Ozon warehouse caught fire after the strike, in Krasnodar, a Kuchenland Home warehouse, and a fire near an Ozon warehouse in the Stavropol Territory were also reported.

Recall that on the night of August 22,the Ukrainian Defense Forces first struck the logistics hub of the Ozon marketplace in Chapayevsk, Samara Oblast, Russia. After the strike, a large-scale fire broke out at the facility.
