In November, Ukrainian Armored Vehicles successfully tested the unmanned ground robotic complex Protector, which integrated the Tavria-12.7 remotely controlled combat module.

The company’s CEO Vladislav Belbas revealed details about the development of the “Protector” NRC in an interview with Censor.net.

According to him, the Protector with a combat module is one of the modifications of the NRC, which was developed at the request of the Unmanned Systems Forces as a heavy unmanned logistics complex.

The NRC has a range of more than 10 kilometers. And its payload capacity is one ton, so it can deliver smaller complexes closer to the front line to carry out missions.

“In addition, it can be equipped with laser-based counter-UAV systems, machine-gun remotely controlled combat modules, and other drones, such as interceptors. Our complex has a fairly wide range of tasks in which it can be used,” the director explained.

Among other things, he said that the robotic complex has three redundant types of communication, which makes it unique.
