“Ukrainian Armored Vehicles” is looking for partners in Germany: why is this important for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

“Ukrainian Armored Vehicles” is looking for partners among German defense companies for the production of new armored vehicles and other military solutions. Among potential partners, the company is considering the defense division of Mercedes-Benz.

The company is considering cooperation with German industry to produce the Saigak-1 and Warta-3 armored vehicles. In particular, the Warta-3 is built on the Unimog chassis, which is manufactured by Mercedes-Benz.
Ukrainian Armored Vehicles noted that Germany is an important partner of Ukraine in the field of military support. At the same time, the company has not yet held negotiations with the German government regarding future orders for armored vehicles.
Potential cooperation may include not only the production of armored vehicles, but also the supply of components and spare parts and the joint development of new military solutions.
Germany has already financed the purchase of Ukrainian military products, including drones and ground robotic systems. Among them are the heavy Protector NRCs produced by “Ukrainian Armored Vehicles”, the first batch of which has already been transferred to the National Guard of Ukraine.
Potential cooperation with Mercedes-Benz could also create an opportunity for the purchase of the Warta-3 for Ukraine with German funding.
Recall that British Prime Minister Andy Burnham stated that London would allow declassification of data on British components of the Storm Shadow missile so that Ukraine could use these technologies to develop its own production of long-range weapons.
