Ukrainian ballistic missile system “Sapsan”: when will it appear on the front line?

Ukraine has repeatedly tested its own Sapsan ballistic missile system at the front, striking targets in Russia and in temporarily occupied territories.

This was reported on Noviny.Live by missile and nuclear weapons expert Alexander Kochetkov.

According to him, the Sapsan missile flew about 300 kilometers and hit the Russian command post with an accuracy of ten meters.

“Since there is half a ton of explosives, nothing remains of that command post. That is why the test can be considered successful,” the expert stated.

He emphasized that under favorable circumstances, ten missiles will be produced per month. The expert noted that the results will be felt in three to four months.

However, as Kochetkov suggested, the production is probably not located in Ukraine.

In addition, the expert explained that the Ukrainian Sapsan missile is better than the American ATACMS. At the same time, it is similar, and in some ways even more effective, than the Iskander.

As a reminder, the director of the Center for Army Research, Conversion and Disarmament, Valentyn Badrak, announced thatthe Ukrainian ballistic missile “Sapsan” successfully passed combat testing , so it will be launched into mass production.

Subsequently, the head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, announced the start of mass production by Ukraine of its own ballistic missile “Sapsan”.

As is known, the number of hits on Russian command posts increased in May, which may indicate that Ukraine is testing its own ballistic missiles .
