Ukrainian cities under an anticyclone: fog in the north, warmth in the south

Today, most of Ukraine will be under the influence of an anticyclone, so rain is not forecast, but fog is expected in places. The air temperature will remain comfortable for early November, and in the south of the country, the air will warm up to +16°C during the day.

As forecaster Natalka Didenko and the Ukrhydrometeorological Center report , high atmospheric pressure will maintain dry and sunny weather. At night and in the morning in the north, east, Vinnytsia region and in the Carpathians, fog can significantly reduce visibility on the roads. The wind will be weak, variable in direction, with a speed of 3-8 m/s.

At night, the temperature will range from 0 to +5°C, during the day – from +8 to +13°C. In the south it is a little warmer: at night +4…+9°C, during the day – +11…+16°C. In the Carpathians it is cooler: at night from +1 to -4°C, during the day +3…+8°C.

According to Natalka Didenko, Friday promises to be especially picturesque: “Typical autumn with fogs, carpets of yellow leaves, an anticyclone and the sun, if the fogs don’t cover it.”

No precipitation is expected in Kyiv, but fog is possible at night and in the morning. The daytime temperature will fluctuate between +10…+11°C.
