Ukrainian defenders repelled 257 attacks by Russian troops: General Staff data

Over the past 24 hours, 257 combat clashes were recorded on the front. The fiercest fighting continued in several directions at once, and the Russian army continued massive airstrikes and drone attacks on Ukrainian military positions.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile strike, used three missiles, carried out 101 air strikes, dropping 310 guided bombs. In addition, it used 9,388 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,896 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, including 71 from multiple rocket launchers.

Over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile troops, and artillery have struck eight areas of enemy manpower concentration, two artillery systems, an ammunition depot, one command post, one UAV command post, and one other important enemy facility.

In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions over the past day, four clashes with the enemy took place, the aggressor carried out two air strikes using six anti-aircraft missiles, and carried out 77 shelling of the positions of our troops and settlements, including five using MLRS.

In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our units eight times in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia, Vilcha and towards the settlements of Kozacha, Lopan, Izbitske, and Chaykivka.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked five times in the Pishchanye area and towards the settlements of Kupyansk-Vuzlovy, Kivsharivka, and Novoplatonivka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy tried to penetrate our defenses 17 times, attacking in the areas of the settlements of Zarichne, Yampil and towards the settlements of Shyykivka, Chervony Stav, Stavky, Drobysheve, Lyman, and Ozerne.

In the Slavyansk direction, the enemy stormed 23 times near Zakitne, Riznykivka, and towards the settlements of Rai-Oleksandrivka and Kryva Luka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked once near Malynivka.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 23 attacks near the settlements of Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Ivano-Pillya, Rusyn Yar and in the direction of Kostyantynivka and Stepanivka.

In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 31 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Vasylivka, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske and towards the settlements of Toretske, Kucheriv Yar, Ivanivka, Novy Donbas, Bilytske, Shevchenko, Novopidhorodne.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, our defenders stopped five enemy attacks in the area of Oleksandrovka and towards Verbovye.

In the Hulyaipil direction, the invaders carried out 27 attacks in the Dobropil area and towards the settlements of Vozdvizhivka, Hirke, Rizdvyanka, Rivne, Staroukrainka, Hulyaipilske, and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders stopped four enemy attempts to advance in the Stepovye area and towards Pavlivka and Shcherbaky.

The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Dnieper direction.

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
