For the second time in a month, drones of the Security Service of Ukraine attacked the Russian oil terminal “Tamannaftogas” in the Krasnodar Territory.
This was reported by Ukrinform, citing sources.
As a result of the drone strikes, a series of explosions were heard there, and a fire broke out at the facility.
According to the source, Tamannaftogas is the largest oil terminal in the Black Sea region. It handles oil, gas, and ammonia. The facility can hold more than a million cubic meters of liquefied gas and petroleum products.
“The SBU systematically works on facilities that bring significant profits to the Russian budget, which are directed to the war. We are talking about energy and export infrastructure, without which it is more difficult for the enemy to finance military operations and maintain its logistics,” the Security Service emphasized.
As a reminder, on February 15, the General Staff reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Tamannaftogas terminal near the village of Volna in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation.
By the way, on the night of December 22 , Ukrainian troops struck an oil terminal in the Russian Federation , an ammunition depot, and facilities related to the launch of attack drones by the Russian army.
