On the night of Thursday, April 2, the Forces of Unmanned Systems, together with the GUR of the Ministry of Defense, struck Russian targets in temporarily occupied Crimea.
This was reported by the SBS press service.
In particular, they managed to hit a warehouse storing an Orion UAV, a reusable strike and reconnaissance drone.
These types of drones cost over $5 million apiece. They are capable of carrying missiles and aerial bombs and staying airborne for up to 24 hours.
The Unmanned Systems Forces confirmed the destruction of 4 Orion UAVs.
In addition, an AN-72P aircraft, which is used to monitor the coastal zone, was hit.
Among other things, the SBS hit the P-37 “MECH” radar station. It is designed to detect air targets, guide fighter aircraft, and target designation for anti-aircraft systems.
“The precision of actions and the well-thought-out construction of SBS operations undermine the enemy’s military potential faster than it can restore it,” the press service emphasized.
It was previously reported that explosions were heard in temporarily occupied Crimea on April 2. As a result, part of the peninsula was left without electricity.
As a reminder, on the night of April 2 , drones attacked Ufa in Bashkortostan . The industrial zone of the city — probably the areas of oil refineries — was hit.
