Ukrainian drones disrupt Russian logistics: Russian propagandists have gone against the occupation authorities

Russian Z-bloggers have publicly questioned the occupation authorities’ claims of complete protection of the land route to temporarily occupied Crimea. According to them, Ukrainian drones continue to strike the strategic route that Russia uses to supply troops.

This is stated in a new report by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

Analysts note that the dispute arose after a meeting between Russian leader Vladimir Putin and the occupying head of the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region, Yevhen Balytsky. During it, Balytsky stated that the M-14 (R-280) Rostov-on-Don – Crimea highway and the region’s energy infrastructure were allegedly fully protected from Ukrainian attacks.

However, even Russian war bloggers did not agree with such statements.

“Ukrainian forces continue to regularly launch strikes along the M-14 highway,” Russian propaganda resources cited by ISW note.

According to analysts, due to the constant threat of drone strikes, fuel carriers to Crimea are forced to pay higher insurance premiums, as the risk of cargo loss has increased significantly.

In addition, Russian bloggers have denied claims that the reduction in the number of vehicles hit was due to the effective work of Russian air defense. They argue that the main reason is the reduction in traffic on this road due to the constant danger of new attacks by Ukrainian drones.

As reported, experts from the Black Sea Institute for Strategic Studies have published a forecast regarding the possible development of the situation in the temporarily occupied Crimea. In their opinion, the peninsula’s supply of fuel and essential goods may rapidly deteriorate due to changes in logistics.
