On the morning of July 7, long-range drones operated by Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate targeted the Ilya Oil Refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai.

This was reported by “Suspilne” referring to intelligence sources.

As a result of the Ukrainian drone strike, one of the refinery’s technological workshops was hit.

The facility is a key oil refining enterprise in Russia’s Southern Federal District. It receives, stores, and processes hydrocarbon raw materials and ships finished products by both road and rail.

“This refinery is part of the military-industrial complex of the aggressor state and is directly involved in waging an aggressive war against Ukraine,” the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine (GUR) stated.

As a reminder, on June 11, a powerful explosion was heard in the city of Engels, Saratov Region, near the Plant Kristal oil depot, which was recently attacked by Ukrainian drones.

Previously, unknown UAVs attacked the Kavkazskaya oil pumping station. It cannot be restored, and will not be able to serve the Russians for a long time.
