Ukrainian drones hit two thermal power plants that cover a significant part of the needs of the occupied Donetsk region

Ukrainian drones attacked the energy system in the occupied part of Donetsk region.

This was announced by SBS commander Robert “Magyar” Brody.

According to him, the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have two thermal power plants – Zuivska and Starobeshivska.

“Magyar” noted that the first TPP has a capacity of 1,200 MW, and the electricity generated by it covers the needs of a third of consumers in the occupied Donetsk region.

At the same time, the Starobeshivska TPP is even more powerful — 2,300 MW.

Earlier, the head of the occupation authorities in the Donetsk region, Denys Pushylin, reported on a drone attack that damaged two thermal power plants , which led to the shutdown of a number of boiler houses and filtration stations.

As a reminder, on the night of October 13 , drones attacked temporarily occupied Crimea, resulting in a hit on the Simferopol TPP facility.
