Ukrainian experts will work in the Middle East to stabilize the situation – Zelensky

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine can help Middle Eastern countries protect people’s lives amid Iranian drone attacks and stabilize the situation in the region.
He reported this on Telegram.
According to the president, the Ukrainian military has the necessary capabilities, so the experts will work on site. The teams are currently negotiating this.
“We are ready to help protect lives, protect civilians, and support real efforts to stabilize the situation and restore, in particular, safe navigation in the region,” Zelensky wrote.
The head of state added that in a few days Iran has deployed almost 1,500 Shahed drones across the Middle East. He emphasized that drones are a threat to free navigation, which affects the price of oil.
“Ukraine can help protect lives and stabilize the situation. Partners are asking about this,” Zelensky assured.
The President has already instructed the heads of the Foreign Ministry, intelligence, the Ministry of Defense, military commands, and the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council to propose assistance options that would not weaken Ukraine’s defense.
Zelensky previously admitted that Ukraine and Middle Eastern countries could exchange weapons – Kyiv is offering interceptor drones, expecting to receive missiles in return.
