Ukrainian specialists are sharing their unique experience in countering Russian drones with NATO allies. Their expertise has already been recognized by Denmark and NATO leadership.

The latest wave of drone attacks in Europe has highlighted Ukraine’s importance in building collective defense against air threats. Specifically, Denmark and Poland have launched joint training programs with the participation of Ukrainian instructors.
The issue of Ukraine’s role in the fight against drones was also raised at the European Political Community summit in Copenhagen.
“The only expert in the world right now when it comes to counter-drone capabilities is Ukraine, as they confront Russian drones almost every day,” said Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen. She called on European partners to adopt Ukrainian technology and their own rearmament experience.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte added that Ukraine’s willingness to share knowledge with its allies is crucial, as Ukraine is a leading country in military innovation and counter-drone technologies.
On Friday, September 26, several unknown drones were spotted over the northern German state of Schleswig-Holstein. Schleswig-Holstein borders Denmark, where drones have been spotted three times this week. Local authorities have launched an official investigation into the incident.
As a reminder, operations at Aalborg Airport in North Jutland were previously temporarily suspended after unknown drones appeared in its airspace.
On the night of September 23 , Gardermoen International Airport in the Norwegian capital was forced to temporarily suspend operations after unknown drones were detected in the airspace above the airfield.
