Ukrainian intelligence destroyed an underground explosives warehouse in the Tula region: why is it important?

On the night of Saturday, August 30, the Main Intelligence Directorate attacked an underground explosives warehouse in the Tula region of the Russian Federation.

This was reported by Ukrinform with reference to a source in the State Security Service.

The facility was located on the territory of the Aleksinsky Chemical Plant. In the underground warehouse, the Russians stored pyroxylin gunpowder, which is used in small arms, artillery systems, and some rocket engines.

Local residents reported on social media that first there were powerful explosions, and then ambulances and rescue crews were sent to the scene of the attack.

The attack on the Tula region was also confirmed by the regional governor.

Ukrainian intelligence added that the neutralization of the enemy’s military-industrial complex will continue – on the territory of the Russian Federation and beyond.

We will remind, on August 28, fighters of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine hit a Buyan-M missile ship in the Sea of Azov .
