On the night of September 24, naval strike drones operated by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine carried out targeted strikes on important infrastructure facilities on the Black Sea coast of Russia. The targets of the operation were the ports of Novorossiysk and Tuapse.

This is reported by sources of RBC-Ukraine.

As it became known, the attack disabled key elements of the Russian oil transportation infrastructure. In particular, it concerns the oil loading complex of the Transneft company and the terminal of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium near Novorossiysk. It was here that tankers were loaded, including vessels from the so-called “shadow fleet”, which is used to circumvent sanctions.

It is estimated that these facilities provide daily exports of up to 2 million barrels of oil, which constitutes a significant share of Russian oil supplies abroad.

In addition, drones struck one of the largest oil terminals in the port of Tuapse – an oil loading pier was blown up, which plays a significant role in the logistics of the aggressor’s energy exports.

These strikes were yet another demonstration of the ineffectiveness of the Russian forces responsible for the defense of the Black Sea ports. According to sources, attempts to repel the attack were accompanied by indiscriminate fire, which resulted in damage to civilian objects: several residential buildings were destroyed, private cars were destroyed, and panic arose among the residents of Novorossiysk, Tuapse, and even Sochi – located dozens of kilometers away. In Sochi, in particular, an emergency evacuation of people from the coastal zone was announced.

As a reminder, on Wednesday, September 24, naval drones attacked the port of Tuapse in the Krasnodar Territory . Sirens and explosions were heard in the city.

As reported, on Wednesday, September 24, drones and unmanned boats attacked the city of Novorossiysk in the Krasnodar Territory.
