Fire Point presented the FP-7 and FP-9 ballistic missiles at the Eurosatory 2026 international arms exhibition in Paris. The Ukrainian guided aerial bomb “Equalizer” was also demonstrated for the first time at the event.
This was reported by Defense Archives analyst Jeff (Jeff2146) on the social network X. The information was also spread by a number of Telegram channels .
Judging by the published characteristics, aircraft can use the “Equalizer” from altitudes ranging from 500 meters to over 10 thousand meters. The guided aerial bomb is capable of hitting targets at distances ranging from 10 to over 130 kilometers.
According to Business Insider, citing the manufacturer, the Ukrainian “Equalizer” KAB costs about three times less than the American JDAM-ER kits.
It is also known that the development of the system lasted a year and a half.
It is noted that the “Equalizer” is equipped with a warhead weighing 250 kg. Brave1 reported that the system was created from scratch.
In addition, the bomb is compatible with Ukrainian aircraft and weapons systems. It can also be used from F-16 and Mirage fighters after undergoing additional certification.
In May, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced that a participant in the Brave1 platform had created the first Ukrainian guided aerial bomb, which had already passed the necessary tests and was ready for combat use.
Main characteristics of the FP-7 missile:
-
- flight range — up to 200 km;

-
- accuracy (KVO) — 14 m;
-
- speed – up to Mach 4.4;

The FP-9 is a promising modification of the FP-7, designed to engage targets deep behind enemy lines. It is expected to be codified in 2026 and will have a range more than four times that of the FP-7, up to 855 km.
Main characteristics of the FP-9 missile:

Previously, “Pryamiy” reported that in the coming days, the Fire Point company plans to sign an agreement with Denmark to produce engines for ballistic missiles on its territory.
The Ukrainian company Fire Point also reported the successful testing of the FP-7.X missile. This development should become the basis for the creation of the promising FREYJA anti-ballistic interceptor.
