Ukrainian Marine Oleksandr Kiriyenko gave a fitting response to rapper Banks’s mockery

Recently, US rapper Azealia Banks mocked the exhausted appearance of Oleksandr Kiriyenko, a soldier from the 36th Marine Brigade who was captured.
She posted her reaction in X.
Oleksandr Kiriyenko is a Ukrainian marine who defended Mariupol. In the spring of 2022, the man was captured by the Russians. The soldier returned home after 3 years.
After seeing a photo collage comparing his physical condition before and after captivity, the singer wrote: “Well, something had to stop his fat ass from eating.”
Her post garnered a lot of negative feedback, but she didn’t respond to any of it.
Oleksandr Kiriyenko responded to American rapper Azealia, who mocked his exhausted appearance after captivity.
“As a Ukrainian, I am a staunch supporter of freedom of speech. We all have the right to self-expression. But I think that our conscience and dignity should set certain limits. Azilia, I hope that no one from your environment is put on the “diet” that Ukrainian prisoners of war were subjected to,” the military said in his address.
He also emphasized that captivity has no place in this world. And all people are created to be free and live in harmony.
It is worth noting that 37-year-old rapper Azealia Banks is originally from New York. She has repeatedly spoken out in support of Russia and called Putin “the favorite super-thief.”
