Ukrainian military conducts cleanup of Kupyansk: about 60 Russians are in the city

The Ukrainian Defense Forces are conducting an operation to clear Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region from Russian occupiers.

This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to him, as of now, about 60 Russian servicemen remain in the city.

“A cleanup is underway. We will clean everything up. The dates have been set, they were at Stavka,” Zelensky assured.

However, he refused to disclose details, adding that he would not be making such information public for now.

The president also commented on the situation in other areas: there were no changes in Lymanske, Kramatorsk, and Kostyantynivske.

At the same time, the enemy has not had any success in the Pokrovsky direction in recent days, despite the fact that the majority — about a third — of combat clashes take place there.

Also, the Dobropil operation is underway in the Donetsk region, with Ukrainian troops clearing the territory.

Recall that the Russians have developed a logistical route through a gas pipe , with the help of which they overcome Oskil and enter Kupyansk.

By the way, the situation on the front in the Kharkiv region remains difficult : the Russian occupiers have accumulated forces and set a goal of capturing Kupyansk.

It was previously reported that the Russian occupiers have accumulated a significant number of troops in Kupyansk , as a result of which they are managing to expand control in the central part of the city.
