Ukrainian military knocks enemy out of Kupyansk: Russians retreat in chaos

Ukrainian units continue to liberate Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region, where active fighting has already moved to the central part of the city.

This was reported by analysts of the Ukrainian OSINT community DeepState.

According to their data, the Defense Forces surrounded the grouping of Russian troops and drove the occupiers out of the entire northwestern part of Kupyansk. Analysts emphasize that they only disseminate information that does not threaten the Ukrainian defenders.

The operation started with the creation of a blockade line, which cut off the enemy’s ability to receive reinforcements. After that, Ukrainian fighters quickly maneuvered to take control of Radkivka and Kindrashivka, and also established fire control over Holubivka.
After a successful breakthrough, the Myrny district (occupation name – Moskalivka) and the northwestern quarters of Kupyansk were cleared.

Despite significant progress, isolated pockets of resistance remain in the city center, and work to destroy occupation units continues.

DeepState emphasized that the operation is the result of joint actions of the strike group of the 2nd Corps of the NGU “Charter”, as well as units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, NGU, GUR, SSO, SBU “Alpha”, KORD, VSP and TGR “Kupyansk”.

We remind you that the activity of Russian troops in Kupyansk has decreased , however, the intensity of operations in the Kharkiv region remains high – the enemy is trying to advance in the South-Slobozhansk direction.

As previously reported, the Ukrainian Defense Forces cut off Russian troops from supplies in Kupyansk, Kharkiv Oblast, so they tried to advance by bypassing the city from the sides.
