Ukrainian military liberated 470 square kilometers in the south and destroyed 11 thousand occupiers

In the southern direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces regained control over about 470 square kilometers of Ukrainian land and eliminated more than 11,000 Russian soldiers.

This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky.

According to him, during a working trip to the Southern Operational Zone, he held a meeting with the command of the offensive group, assault and airborne assault units, heard reports on the performance of combat missions, and discussed further actions to coordinate units in responsible areas.

“Since the beginning of the operation, we have regained control over about 470 sq. km of Ukrainian territory and neutralized more than 11 thousand invaders,” Syrsky emphasized.

He added that the successes of the Ukrainian military are possible thanks to the courage of the soldiers and non-standard tactical decisions.

As a reminder, the Russian occupation army is demonstrating increased activity at the front amid improving weather conditions.

By the way, Russian troops at the front are regrouping and preparing for offensives when green spaces appear.

As reported, last week the Russian army increased the intensity of offensive operations at the front , in particular, from March 17 to 20, the enemy tried to break through the defensive formations of the Defense Forces of Ukraine in several strategic directions.
