Ukrainian military repelled 267 Russian attacks: where the fighting took place

There were 267 combat clashes on the front during the day. The Pokrovsky and Hulyaypil directions remain the hottest. The occupiers are massively using aviation, guided bombs, and kamikaze drones.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 8:00 a.m. on May 29.

Yesterday, the enemy launched a missile strike using one missile, carried out 86 air strikes, dropped 269 guided bombs. In addition, it used 7,881 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,806 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, including 77 from multiple rocket launchers.

The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular in the areas of the settlements of Mala Slobidka and Nova Sloboda in the Sumy region.
Over the past day, the missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces have hit one enemy artillery system.

In the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions over the past day, five clashes took place, the enemy launched seven air strikes, dropped 15 guided bombs, and carried out 99 shelling of the positions of our troops and settlements, including three using multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units nine times in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia, Prylipka, Veterinarne, Shevyakivka, Lyman and in the direction of the settlements of Izbitske and Ternova.

In the Kupyansk direction, our defenders stopped seven enemy attacks in the areas of Kivsharivka, Petropavlivka, Pishchane, and Kupyansk.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 13 attempts by the invaders to advance towards the settlements of Hrekivka, Makiivka, Novomykhailivka, Lyman, Drobysheve, and Dibrova.

In the Slavyansk direction, during the past 24 hours, our defenders stopped four attempts by the occupiers to advance in the areas of the settlements of Rai-Oleksandrivka, Zakitne, and Riznykivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, our defenders stopped three enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Tikhonivka and Markovo.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 16 attacks near Kostyantynivka, Illinivka, Ivano-Frankivka, Berestok, Rusyn Yar, and Stepanivka.

In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 46 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Vilne, Novy Donbas, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Shevchenko, Pokrovsk, Bilytske, Hryshyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Filiya, and Novopavlivka.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked twice in the areas of the settlements of Sichneve and Zlagoda.

In the Hulyaipil direction, there were 32 attacks by the invaders in the areas of the settlements of Myrne, Dobropillya, Vozdvizhivka, Girke, Zaliznychne, Hulyaipilske, Rybne, Tsvitkove, Staroukrainka, Verkhnia Tersa, and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy twice tried to advance in the area of the settlement of Shcherbaki.

In the Dnieper direction, Ukrainian units stopped one enemy attack in the area of Belogruy Island.

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
