Ukrainian Navy struck an elite Russian special forces unit: what is known

Ukrainian Naval Forces attacked the Russians, striking an elite enemy special forces unit stationed on the Syvash drilling rig.

This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Navy.

As noted, the strike resulted in the destruction of the enemy ATGM crew, as well as the occupiers’ technical means of reconnaissance and surveillance.

The Navy emphasized that the Russians tried to “pass off defeat as victory” and spread a fake video about the alleged destruction of a Ukrainian boat.

“The Russians are spreading a video of the alleged destruction of a Ukrainian Navy boat with a Lancet munition, while in reality we successfully used a kamikaze drone,” the press service explained.

Earlier, drones of the GUR special unit “Ghosts” successfully hit several important military targets in temporarily occupied Crimea. Three Russian radar stations and a landing craft were hit.
