The Ukrainian Navy launched a strike with a Neptune missile system on the Marynivka airfield in the Volgograd region of Russia. The attack destroyed two Russian Su-34 fighter-bombers.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Navy.

The strike was carried out on the location of Russian aviation on the territory of the 11th mixed aviation regiment near the settlement of Oktyabrsky.

The destroyed Su-34s belonged to the 4th Mixed Aviation Division of the 4th Army of the Russian Air Force and Air Defense.

The Navy noted that the Su-34 is one of the main aircraft of Russian tactical aviation, which is used to strike with guided bombs on Ukrainian cities, positions of the Defense Forces, and front-line territories.

As a reminder, on October 15, the Ukrainian Navy launched a strike with a Neptune aircraft against the Borisoglebsk airfield in the Voronezh region of Russia. At that time, the military reported the destruction of six Russian Su-34Ms and flight support equipment.
