Ukrainian soldiers left Novovasilovskoye

In the Zaporizhzhia direction and in the southern part of the Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian troops are not reducing the intensity of assaults, massive artillery shelling, and fire strikes.

The Southern Defence Forces press centre reported this.

According to military data, nearly 40 combat clashes occurred in the Oleksandrivske and Hulyai-Polye directions over the past 24 hours. Russian units continue to attack Ukrainian positions and attempt to break through and infiltrate deep into the defenses.

Over the course of 24 hours, the Russian army carried out more than 350 attacks, using more than 1,500 rounds of ammunition.
The enemy’s losses amounted to almost:

• 300 military personnel;

• 58 units of weapons and equipment, including a tank, armored vehicles, artillery systems of various types, and light motor vehicles.

The Defense Forces reported that due to the regrouping of combat formations and the change in the configuration of the contact line, Ukrainian units were withdrawn from the village of Novovasilovskoye to more advantageous and secure positions for further defense.

Ukrainian soldiers are carrying out measures to block the enemy’s advance and inflict combined fire damage on them.

The Southern Defence Forces noted:

“The defenders of southern Ukraine are fighting fiercely for every meter of Ukrainian land.”
