Ukrainian Sting S has already destroyed about a dozen Geran-4 jet drones

The Ukrainian Sting S interceptor drone has already destroyed about a dozen Russian Geran-4 jet drones, as well as several small Geran-5 cruise missiles, during combat tests.

This is reported by “Military” with reference to the company “Wild Hornets”.

The Sting S is based on the Sting interceptor drone, which Ukrainian developers use to combat enemy drones. The new version has a high-speed quadcopter design and is primarily focused on intercepting jet targets.

The Sting S is currently undergoing active combat testing. Wild Hornets is not yet disclosing its tactical and technical characteristics, as the drone has not yet been launched into mass production.

The developers note that the final characteristics of the interceptor may change in the coming weeks, taking into account the results of its use at the front.

The Sting S destroyed most of the Russian targets using Hornet Vision Ctrl remote control technology.

The company expects that this technology will help quickly scale up the use of the Sting S after the launch of mass production and the start of deliveries of interceptors to combat units.
