Ukrainian Su-27 hits Russian artillery position in Zaporizhia region
In the Zaporizhia region, a pilot of a Su-27 fighter jet destroyed an artillery position of Russian troops, from which units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine had been shelling for a long time. GBU-39 high-precision guided aerial bombs were used for the strike.

“The pilot of the Su-27 fighter jet with an accurate strike destroyed an enemy artillery position, from which they had been firing at the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Zaporizhia direction for a long time,” the Air Force said in a statement.
As a result of the strike, artillery guns of the Russian troops, which were used to shell Ukrainian units, were destroyed. The results of the combat work were confirmed by means of objective control.
The Air Force noted that the destruction of the position significantly weakened the fire capabilities of Russian troops on this section of the front.
The combat mission was carried out by pilot Dmytro from the 39th Tactical Aviation Brigade named after Hero of Ukraine Oleksandr Dovhach. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he has flown over 300 combat sorties and completed dozens of combat missions to destroy military facilities of Russian troops.
By the way, in the Donetsk region, fighters of the “Phoenix” unit of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine destroyed a Russian “Buk-M3” anti-aircraft missile system , which the occupiers were moving to the front line.
It was previously reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down a Russian MiG-29 fighter jet at one of the airfields in the Kursk region.
