The situation for Ukrainian forces in the Velykyi Burluk area has improved – the Russian occupiers have been effectively pushed back to the state border, and over the past month they have lost two settlements.

The spokesman for the Joint Forces Group, Viktor Tregubov, announced this on air during the telethon.

According to him, the situation in this area has now returned to the format that existed about a year ago.

“The Velikoburluk route has returned to the format it had a year ago,” Tregubov noted.

He added that Russian troops lost control of two settlements, while Ukrainian forces managed to push the occupiers closer to the border.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Armed Forces denied Russia’s statement about the “complete occupation” of the Luhansk region.
