The Security Service of Ukraine has intercepted an official Russian document that denies Ukraine’s involvement in the attack by Ukrainian UAVs on a bus carrying Belarusian citizens in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation.

This was reported by the press service of the SBU.

It is known that this is an information certificate from the monitoring center of the state-owned institution of the Bryansk region “Safe Region”.

The SBU counterintelligence received the document during special operational measures.

The document notes that at the time of the bus incident, there were no Ukrainian UAVs in the airspace of the area.

The document contains information that:

• the regional segment of the operational headquarters of the Unified National Center did not record any UAVs in the area of the incident;

• the officer on duty of the radar battalion in the Russian settlement of Suponevo did not confirm the presence of Ukrainian drones in Russian airspace;

• The officer on duty of the 32nd division of the occupation forces also did not confirm the flights of unmanned aerial vehicles at the relevant time.

The department believes that the attack on the bus is a planned operation against the Russian Federation.

The SBU reminds that Russia has repeatedly accused Ukraine of crimes that, according to the Ukrainian side, were committed by the Russian Federation itself.

SBU experts also emphasize that the Russian Federation uses such cases to strengthen information and psychological operations and pressure on Ukraine.

“At the same time, we emphasize once again that Ukraine and all the Security and Defense Forces of our state strictly adhere to the laws and customs of war and work exclusively for legitimate military purposes,” the Security Service emphasized.

Recall that on June 17, Russian and Belarusian media reported that Ukrainian drones hit a school bus in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation. The bus was carrying a children’s football team from Gomel, which was heading to a training camp in Gelendzhik.

Previously, “Pryamiy” reported that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine denied the Russian side’s statements about an alleged attack by a Ukrainian drone on a bus with a children’s football team in the Bryansk region.
