Ukrainian units hold positions in Hulyaipol, but defense is becoming increasingly difficult — DeepState

Ukrainian defenders continue to hold positions in Huliaipol despite the fact that the city is completely in the “gray zone.”

This was reported by DeepState analysts.

It is emphasized that the further defense of Hulyaipol is becoming increasingly difficult, as enemy forces, as well as Ukrainian ones, are present almost everywhere.

“In one basement there may be fighters of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, and in the neighboring one there may be the enemy. Only assault groups operate in the open,” the analysts explained.

However, according to them, the key problem lies in the terrain — Hulyaipole is located in a lowland, which makes the process of replenishing Ukrainian units complicated.

At the same time, the Russian occupiers faced the same problem. However, the Russian army has a much larger number of personnel.

“Despite the heavy fighting for the city and its surroundings, we should not forget that someone needs to build a defense line behind Hulyaipol so that there is no repetition of the situation with Avdiivka, when the enemy simply began to advance on Pokrovsk, because the “prepared lines” turned out to be unprepared,” DeepState concluded.

We remind you that the situation in the city of Hulyaipole remains difficult , part of the settlement is under the control of Russian troops.

By the way, the Defense Forces of Ukraine are investigating reports of the alleged capture by Russian troops of one of the control points in Hulyaipil , Zaporizhia region.

It was previously reported that there is a risk of a worsening of the defense situation in the Hulyaipol area of Zaporizhia region due to internal problems in one of the territorial defense units. This concerns possible cases of sabotage and disinformation.
