Gradual warming is expected in Ukraine by the end of the week after severe frosts that will persist in most regions today.
This was reported by weather forecaster Natalka Didenko.
According to her forecast, on January 21, the weather in Ukraine will be determined by an anticyclone: no precipitation is expected, the sky will be clear, and there will be ice on the roads. Severe frost is expected at night – from -10 to -17 degrees, and during the day the air will warm up to -4…-8 degrees. In the north of the country, the temperature will drop to -10 degrees in some places, and in the south it may even rise close to zero.
“From January 25-26, the daytime temperature will finally reach zero and small “pluses”, but warming will occur gradually,” Didenko noted.
The wind is expected to be southwest and south, which will additionally create a sense of relief after the severe frost. In Kyiv, the forecast for the coming night is -12…-14 degrees, and tomorrow afternoon — -6…-8 degrees. No precipitation is expected, but the roads will remain slippery.
The weather forecaster also warned: the warming will not last long and frosts may return soon, so Ukrainians should prepare for weather swings at the end of the month.
