Ukrainians have started receiving National Cashback payments: what is the validity period for using the funds?
Since July 3, payments under the National Cashback program for April have begun to be deposited onto Ukrainian bank cards.
This was reported in the Action telegrams.
In total, approximately 5 million Ukrainians will receive the funds. They can only be used for cashless payments for goods and services—withdrawing cash or transferring funds to another card is not possible.
Accumulated cashback can be used to pay for utilities and postal services, purchase medications, Ukrainian-made products, books from domestic publishers, as well as charity or support for the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
All funds must be used by July 31, 2026, inclusive. After this date, any unused balance will be automatically cancelled and returned to the state budget.
Action noted that this payment completes the first stage of the program. Meanwhile, a new stage of the National Cashback program, which involves a new accumulation of savings, began on May 1.
