Ukrenergo named the regions with the worst electricity situation
The situation with electricity supply in a number of regions in Ukraine remains difficult. The most problems are currently being recorded in the controlled part of the Donetsk region and in front-line regions.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine.
Ukrenergo Head Vitaliy Zaychenko stated during a telethon that the situation with electricity in the Odessa region is still difficult due to constant enemy strikes. In particular, at night the Russians struck in the Izmail area.
According to him, power engineers have already restored the operation of several substations, and repair crews from the regional energy company are working to restore power to consumers in the city. Most residents of Odessa currently have electricity.
At the same time, Zaichenko stressed that the most difficult situation remains in the frontline and border regions. The most difficult situation is now in the Donetsk region, where the enemy has attacked critical infrastructure facilities three times over the past 24 hours using guided bombs. The region has problems not only with electricity, but also with heat supply.
Power outages are also being recorded in Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions. According to the head of Ukrenergo, it is near the front and border that it is most difficult for power engineers to carry out repair work.
It was previously reported that as of the morning of December 26, the situation in Ukraine’s energy system is gradually stabilizing, despite constant Russian attacks on infrastructure facilities.
As a reminder, on the night of December 26, Odessa was again attacked by Russian drones. As a result of the attack, one of the city’s infrastructure facilities was hit, which led to a fire.
