New power outages were recorded in four regions of Ukraine as a result of Russian shelling on the morning of July 7. In addition, 20 settlements in Sumy Oblast remain without power due to the bad weather.

This was reported by NPC Ukrenergo.

According to the company, due to enemy attacks, consumers in Donetsk, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kherson regions were left without electricity.

“Where safety conditions currently allow, emergency restoration work is already underway. Power engineers are doing everything possible to restore power to all subscribers as soon as possible,” Ukrenergo reported.

Separately, energy experts reported on the consequences of the bad weather in the Sumy region. As of this morning, 20 settlements were completely or partially without power.

“Repair teams of regional energy companies are restoring damaged power lines. The work is complicated by security conditions in the region,” the company noted.

At the same time, electricity consumption in Ukraine currently corresponds to seasonal indicators. This is attributed to a decrease in air temperature, which is why Ukrainians use air conditioners less.

Ukrenergo called for the use of powerful electrical appliances to be postponed to the daytime – from 10:00 to 16:00, when solar power plants operate most efficiently.

“It is advisable to postpone the use of powerful electrical appliances today to the period from 10:00 to 16:00. Please consume electricity rationally,” the energy experts emphasized.
