Ukrposhta will begin delivering marriage certificates issued through the “Marriage Online” service in Diia to Ukrainians abroad. The international delivery service will launch in September and will gradually expand to 48 countries, allowing newlyweds to receive their documents without traveling to Ukraine.

This was announced by the General Director of Ukrposhta, Ihor Smilyansky.

The company will launch the first international route for delivering certificates in September. Ukrposhta has not yet revealed which country will be the first.

The new opportunity will be part of the updated state service “Marriage Online 2.0.” After the video ceremony at “Diya,” the newlyweds will be able to receive a paper marriage certificate abroad through “Ukrposhta.”

Thus, the entire process—from submitting an application and attending the online ceremony to receiving the document—can be completed remotely.

According to Smilyansky, in 2026, Ukrainians registered 40% of all marriages in the country electronically.

International delivery of certificates will be launched gradually. After launching in the first country, Ukrposhta will assess how the mechanism works and then expand the service to 48 countries across Europe and around the world in three stages.

Russia and Belarus will not be among them.

Ukrposhta will announce the list of countries, delivery times, and cost separately when launching each new route.
