Ukrzaliznytsia has announced the launch of five additional trains that will run to various regions of Ukraine in the fall. The new schedule should ease travel during peak dates and provide more options for passengers planning trips to the West and East of the country.
This was reported by the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia.
It is noted that five additional trains will connect Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipro, Truskavets, Chop and Uzhhorod. This decision was made for the convenience of passengers during the period of increased demand for transportation in the fall.
According to the schedule:
- Train No. 249/250 Kyiv – Lviv will run on August 27 and 28.
- Train No. 220/219 Kyiv – Dnipro will depart on August 25, 28, 30 and 31.
- Train No. 159/160 Kyiv – Truskavets is scheduled for September 1, 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 28 and October 3, 4, 5.
- Train No. 218/217 Chop – Lviv will run every other day from September 1 to 29.
- Train No. 284/283 Uzhhorod – Kyiv will depart every other day from September 1 until the introduction of a new schedule for 2026. It will be conveniently integrated with transfers to high-speed flights from Kharkiv and Dnipro, which allows passengers to get to the West even if they do not have tickets for direct trains.
The company reminds that before traveling, it is worth checking the current schedule with intermediate stops and service dates on the official website of Ukrzaliznytsia.
Tickets can be purchased in three ways: online at booking.uz.gov.ua , in the Ukrzaliznytsia mobile application, or at train station ticket offices.
Thus, the company is expanding travel options this fall and encourages passengers to plan their trips in advance.
We would like to remind you that on August 12, Ukrzaliznytsia scheduled an additional train to Odessa . The train will include compartment cars with seats.
It should be noted that earlier Ukrzaliznytsia reported that due to the peak season, the demand for the most popular routes is 5-8 passengers per seat.
