Ukrzaliznytsia is updating the schedule of suburban trains on popular routes in the Kyiv agglomeration and adding eight regional routes. The changes concern the connection between Kyiv and Hrebinka, Nizhyn, and Konotop, and also partially adjust the schedule of other trains.
This was reported by the carrier’s press service.
New flights will start running from April 16–17. In particular, from April 16, additional trains will run daily from Kyiv to Hrebinka and Nizhyn, and from April 17 — in the opposite direction and on other sections of the route. The suburban train No. 6920 Kyiv-Volynskyi – Nizhyn is also being resumed, and will operate on weekdays.
Ukrzaliznytsia notes that some of the duplicate flights have been removed from the schedule, so passengers are advised to check the current schedule in advance in the “Changes in traffic” section on the official website.
“At the same time, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that duplicate suburban flights on these routes have been removed from the schedule. We recommend that you check the relevance of the flight you need on the Ukrzaliznytsia website in the “Changes in traffic” section,” the message says.
In addition to launching new flights, some trains will change routes or departure and arrival stations starting April 16, including on routes to Teterev, Borshchahivka, and Fastiv. Some flights will also receive an updated schedule starting April 17 and April 19.
As reported, Ukrzaliznytsia, together with Moldovan partners, is implementing a test trip to the station near Chisinau airport.
By the way, on the morning of April 16, a baby boy was born on the train from Ivano-Frankivsk to Cherkasy. The condition of the mother and child at the time of disembarkation was satisfactory.
