Ukrzaliznytsia suspended suburban flights due to infrastructure damage

Due to enemy attacks and damage to railway facilities, a number of suburban trains in Ukraine have temporarily suspended their services. Some routes are operating with delays or shortened routes.

This is stated in the post of “Ukrzaliznytsia”.

Chairman of the Board Oleksandr Pertsovsky reported that the company’s personnel are promptly eliminating the consequences of the damage and ensuring the safe operation of trains whenever possible.

“People are safe, work is continuing, but on some routes you will have to wait for backup trains,” he noted.

Dnipropetrovsk region
Trains No. 7303, No. 7305, No. 7304, No. 7204, and No. 6016 will temporarily not run in the Dnipro and Kamiansky directions. Some routes have been shortened: trains from Pyatikhatki will stop at Verkhivtsevo, and from Dnipro – at Sukhachivka.

Kharkiv region
Train traffic in the direction of Berestyn is limited to Sakhnovshchyna station.

Chernihiv region
Due to problems with the power supply of the catenary network, some trains are delayed: regional train No. 895 Konotop – Fastiv-1 for 1 hour and 45 minutes, and suburban train No. 6452 Nizhyn – Konotop for 1 hour.

“As soon as the repair work is completed and the infrastructure is restored, trains will resume normal operation,” the company added.

As reported, on the night of November 6 , Russian occupation forces massively attacked Kamianske in the Dnipropetrovsk region with drones. At least eight people were injured as a result of the strikes.
