Unbreakable defenders of the sky: Ukraine celebrates the Day of the Anti-Aircraft Missile Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Every year on July 3, Ukraine celebrates the Day of the Anti-Aircraft Missile Forces of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – a holiday of those who stand guard over the skies of our country.

The unique role of these military personnel is to protect peaceful skies from enemy attacks, ensure the safety of citizens, and save the lives of thousands of people. In times of war, they demonstrate not only professionalism but also extraordinary courage, often working in extremely difficult conditions.

Every day, Ukrainian anti-aircraft gunners repel attacks by Russian aggressors, shooting down enemy drones, missiles, and planes. Each of their successes is a contribution to the defense of the country and the approach of the day when true peace will reign in Ukraine.

Amid the combat challenges of war, these warriors are constantly improving their skills, adapting to new threats and technologies. Their resilience and determination inspire all of Ukraine and are recognized on the international stage.
