Undermining trust in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and volunteers: how the Russians use information attacks against the “Hospitaliers”
Public activist Yuriy Honcharenko announced an information campaign against the volunteer medical battalion “Hospitaliery” and its founder Yana Zinkevich. According to him, such media attacks can be used to undermine trust in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the volunteer movement.

He noted that materials directed against Yana Zinkevich are being distributed in the information space. According to the activist, such messages are being used by the enemy as part of an information campaign.
“So that you understand how the enemy is using the crackdown on Yan Zinkevych, here are a few screenshots. Yes, mobilization, trust in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and volunteers are being questioned,” said Yuriy Honcharenko.
According to him, undermining trust in the Ukrainian military and volunteers is the main goal of such an information campaign.
“This is the goal of this campaign. And it’s bad that Ukrainians themselves gave Russia this tool,” said Yuriy Honcharenko.
The activist also commented on the story being spread in the media about the events of 2014. He expressed doubt that Yana Zinkevich could have given the relevant order during that period.
“Even if someone was put in a pit, I very much doubt that Yana could have given such an order in 2014. She didn’t have the right power at that moment,” said Yuriy Honcharenko.
He also drew attention to the fact that such accusations have only begun to spread actively now.
“At least it’s strange to talk about it today, not then. Not in 2019,” said Yuriy Honcharenko.
By the way, the public is actively commenting on accusations of alleged misuse of charitable contributions by the “Hospitaliery” medical battalion . The founder of the organization, Yana Zinkevich, is now independently overcoming media pressure, while the real indicator of the structure’s activities is the rescue of the wounded on the front line, not just paper documentation.
