Unmanned Systems Forces Attack Russian Drone Development Center in Zaporizhia
Units of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck at the facilities of the Russian Bars-Sarmat center in the temporarily occupied part of the Zaporizhia region.
This was reported by the “Reid” regiment.
According to preliminary information, the attack targeted a temporary deployment point and workshops where Russian military personnel manufactured and equipped drones, ground robotic complexes, and electronic warfare equipment.
“Bars-Sarmat” is considered one of the key structures of the Russian army in the field of development and testing of drones and related technologies.
It is there that military personnel and engineers work, creating and implementing new unmanned systems for the Russian army.
The Ukrainian military notes that the destruction of these facilities should significantly weaken the enemy’s capabilities in developing and using unmanned technologies at the front.
As previously reported, the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched a series of strikes on important military facilities of the Russian occupiers in Crimea, Zaporizhia and Donetsk regions during the day, on April 29.
We remind you that the Security Service of Ukraine reported the damage to an oil pumping station near the city of Perm (Russia), more than 1,500 km from the state border of Ukraine.
