In the Chinese city of Jinan, 110 Expedition A3 humanoid robots set a world record by performing the largest synchronized dance among humanoid machines. The performance took place on October 24 and was officially listed in the Guinness Book of Records.
This is reported by Pandaily .
During the performance, the Expedition A3 robots performed jumps, flips, and complex group rearrangements. The synchronism of movements was ensured by the LinkBots platform and the UWB ultra-wideband positioning system, which allows determining the position with an accuracy of a few centimeters.
The Expedition A3 model was designed for shows and mass events. Previously, the previous model, the AgiBot A2, set a record by covering 106 kilometers without stopping.

According to local authorities, China developed more than 400 models of humanoid robots in the first half of 2026, more than half of the world’s total. During this period, the country produced more than 40,000 robots, and plans to increase production to 100,000 devices by the end of the year.
Competition in the Chinese robotics market is intensifying. In 2025, Unitree Robotics shipped over 5,500 robots, with the G1 model selling for approximately 167,600 yuan, equivalent to 1.14 million hryvnias.
Humanoid robots are gradually being used not only in performances, but also in production processes. In particular, the company Robotera uses its robots to sort packages in 15 warehouse complexes, and DexForce machines at Lens Technology enterprises pack mobile devices.
At the same time, the widespread adoption of robots is hampered by technical limitations. According to the event organizers, the machines can be affected by changes in lighting, uneven floors, and unexpected obstacles. In addition, errors can accumulate during long tasks.
Beijing plans to create conditions for the widespread introduction of tens of thousands of humanoid robots in hundreds of different fields by the end of 2026.
Recall that the Chinese humanoid robot Lightning set a record in the 100-meter dash , covering the distance in 9.32 seconds. The robot’s result turned out to be faster than Usain Bolt’s world record, which is 9.58 seconds.
